STOMP OUT BULLYING!!
People get bullied more and more every day, but do school officials, parents, or peers even do anything about it? When you see a child getting bullied, what is your response? I don't know about you, but when I see an innocent child getting bullied, i stand up for them.
People don't think about it, but bully's mostly target: Kids with disabilities, Kids who have family problems & kids who aren't very social. In this article by a Florida official, this is a perfect example of how everyone doesn't take bullying very seriously. In this article it states, “For months, 18-year-old Stormy Rich witnessed a girl with special needs being bullied by her peers on the way to school.”They would be mean to her, tell her she couldn't sit on certain spots on the bus...just because she doesn't understand doesn't mean that should be happening to her," Rich says she reported the incidents to the bus driver and school officials. When they didn't take action, she stepped in and confronted the bullies; but instead of being praised for her efforts, Rich ended up being labeled as a bully." You may think differently, but i believe that Stormy shouldn't have got punished at all. She was just standing up for the girl with the disorder that was getting bullied.
Next time you get bullied, report it to the bully hot line; 1-80b-ully. If you are ever a witness to a kid/child getting bullied, do something. How would you feel if it was you getting bullied? Not so good, right? So, if we all team up, we can all stomp out bullying.
